French wingback in raw linen

We were entrusted this gorgeous 19th century French wingback by ici et la in Surry Hills, to ready it for presentation on their shop floor.
After stripping it right back, it was reupholstered using traditional techniques of hand stitching, horsehair stuffing and cotton wadding padding over coil springs.
Wrapped in a luxurious raw linen and finished with recycled brass studs, it awaits a new home.
